Kaštel is situated between two UNESCO Sites - one being Diocletian's Palace in Split and the other the old town of Trogir. The best time for ideal sailing weather conditions in Kaštel is between early April and late June or from late august to early October. The hottest months are June, July and August, with the warmest time of the year being mid-July, with highs reaching 32 degrees Celsius during the day and 21 degrees Celsius at night. Winds in Kaštel are usually calm with the windiest months being March, February and December. Calm waters and winds in the summer usually mean perfect yachting conditions. Even the busiest months in Kaštel - July, August and May do not hinder the perfect conditions for a sailing holiday in the area.
