Šibenik

Feel the harmony of yellow sun, blue sea and white rock in Šibenik, a Croatian city located on the Adriatic coast, in the estuary of the Krka river. St Anthony`s channel brings Šibenik and the Adriatic together and is a feature to behold while sailing- fortifications from ancient times, when battles raged in these parts, mix with diverse vegetation and beautiful coastline. A popular tourist destination, Šibenik boasts two UNESCO protected sites - Šibenik Cathedral and St. Nicholas Fortress. There are also numerous other gothic and renaissance works of sculpture and architecture in the old-town part of Šibenik such St. Barbaras church, the Church of the Holy Spirit, and the Palace of Knights, as well as many Parks of Nature and National Parks. Cultural and musical events in Šibenik are big in scale and plentiful in number - International Children's Festival, Šibenik Chanson Festival and various musical events of popular domestic and well-known foreign performers held on the summer stage of the St. Michael's Fortress. Beaches in Šibenik are a great place to bask in the sun and cool off in the sea. Banj and Jadria are city beaches where locals go for sporting and fun activities, particularly windsurfing. The Kornati National Park isle cluster lies just north of Šibenik and is a must see for all sailors, as well as Krka National Park, located along the Krka estuary.

Murter

Murter, the island, is home to Murter, the town, the largest settlement on the isle. In the vicinity are close to 200 other islands of the Kornati Archipelago, big and small, mostly uninhabited. A perfect place to lose yourself in island hopping and exploring. Not many people rent boats, they usually come in groups, so with a chartered boat it is always possible to find a quiet spot for a fish picnic. The beaches around Murter are sandy and rocky and the sea entrances on most beaches are shallow, partly due to very indented coastline. Among the more notable sandy beaches beaches are Podravske, Jazina and Slanica there is also Cigrade beach with a mix of rock and sand. Restaurants and taverns in Murter serve traditional Dalmatian dishes with fresh fish coming directly from the sea onto the plate.

Primošten

A charming tourist heaven, once a fishing village and now a sprawling hub of tourism and a nautical dream come true. Old town Primošten was once an island town and nowadays is connected by a short land bridge. Primošten preserves well the atmosphere of a Mediterranean village, the welcoming and cheery hosts being its greatest asset. A small hill dominates the old core, with the church of St. George standing proudly atop it. In Primošten, refreshment is sought after at Mala Raduča and Vela Raduča beaches, which are mostly pebbly. There are also several small islands scattered across the horizon and those are ideal for a yachting trip. Primošten also represents a major center for olive trade and wine making, famous for its Babić sort, known across the globe. Aurora, the best club in the Adriatic, is just outside city limits and with regular visits from top DJs in the world, one does not get bored easily on a hot summer night in Primošten.

Rogoznica

Warm sea, beautiful beaches and sweet summer sunsets await you in Rogoznica, a peaceful Mediterranean town. Rogoznica rests on a peninsula that was once a small island Kopara which joined together with the mainland by an artificial embankment. The city core is dominated by the parish church of St. Nicholas, but in the vicinity are the churches of St. John of Trogir and of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Heaven. Good atmosphere from Rogoznica spreads far and wide, attracting many visitors and sailors to "Dragon's Eye" salt water lake or weekly Fishermen's Nights. The town marina Frapa is located in the Soline bay and with 400 moorings, is known to be one of the safest ports in the Adriatic Beaches are mostly sandy and rocky, the most renown beaches being Art Beach for swimmers only, pebbly beach Miline in the center of town and Sepurina beach marked with a Blue Flag - a recognition of cleanliness.

When sailing in Šibenik region, keep an eye out for Kornati, Krka and Paklenica National Parks as well as many others parks of nature, concealing marvelous beauties of nature, beneath the rugged landscape of rock and sand. Making port in one of the modern harbors, come ashore and take a stroll through the old-towns of Šibenik or Trogir. In the evening, go partying out in Aurora, where a good time is guaranteed.
