Gros Islet is a small town on the island of Saint Lucia, situated north of Castries, the capital of the island. Incorporated into the northernmost tip of the island, Gros Islet has boundaries at Cap Point and Cap Estate, with only just recently (1985.) being promoted from a village to a town.
