Sailing season - When to charter in the Caribbean

The majority of the islands encountered in the Caribbean boast a tropical climate with all the designated features: air temperatures between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius, with the prevailing winds blowing from the North or East and the stability of those climatological elements lasting to the beginning of hurricane season. Bad weather in the Caribbean is framed within the temporal margins of the hurricane season, meaning from June to November, with the most severe storms encountered from August to October. Sailing in the Caribbean during the winter, it is best to avoid the southern and western parts of the Caribbean, because of the risk of hurricanes.
